Your psychiatrist will use a holistic (whole person) approach to ensure that your past health history, family history, social circumstances, and current life stressors are all considered when collaborating with you to create your personalized treatment plan. This will usually include an integrated combination of medication and psychotherapy in order to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, or other mental health conditions.
